Benefits

We recognize that our employees are our company's most valuable asset and that without the professionalism, support, and innovation of AFS employees, we would not be considered the best in the business. That's why AFS is committed to providing a full range of health, retirement, and other valuable, benefits, as well as ongoing education to make our employees' lives easier, healthier, and more secure.

Eligibility for benefits varies depending upon the benefit chosen. Additional information regarding specific benefit eligibility may be obtained from the AFS Human Resource Department.

AFS 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
The AFS 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan enables AFS employees to invest for retirement on a pretax basis. Employees may invest up to 35% of their salary in a variety of investment options sponsored by the company. After six months and at least 1,000 hours of employment, AFS will match each dollar of employee savings with a 50-cent contribution for up to 6% of an employee's salary.

Employees are 100% vested in the amount of salary they choose to defer, and full vestment in the AFS matching contribution is gradually attained over a six-year period. Other benefits of the plan include self-directed stock options, Roth 401(k) and the option to borrow against plan savings. The plan is currently administered by Merrill Lynch Securities. Participants have access to their individual account via a toll-free number or the Internet.

Educational Reimbursement
AFS provides educational assistance to all eligible employees. Reimbursement for approved courses is based on the submission of a passing grade.

Job Posting
