BPLC is commercial lending's source for industry-standard benchmarking metrics. Using BPLC, banks are mining millions of dollars in capital that lie untouched or misallocated while discovering ways to transform their operational performance through integration, consolidation and automation—with some banks improving performance more than 10% every six months.
BPLC members join through participating in one or more of the following services:
Operational Benchmarking
AFS is commercial lending's exclusive provider of operational performance benchmarking metrics. Using quality, efficiency and risk as cornerstones, AFS Operational Performance Benchmarking collects, measures and reports on comparative, actionable data that lead to performance—and capital—improvements throughout the lending process.
Loan Pricing Benchmarking
The AFS Competitive Pricing Service is commercial lending's leading price data benchmark. Challenged to sustain viability and grow, banks require more than anecdotal or generalized pricing data. This AFS service delivers specific competitive pricing metrics for relevant market segments, such as geographic regions (groupings by states, provinces, regions), facility/loan type, collateral type, deal size and risk rating to enable informed sales and revenue strategies and improved performance.
Capital Management
AFS has developed the Capital Management Program (CMP), designed to quickly target opportunities to reduce the capital requirements for the Bank through a focused review of the loan data, policies and processes. Our expert staff will evaluate data quality at the note level to determine where inconsistencies lead to higher capital requirements, document flaws in the credit process where data quality is impacting the categorization of loans and collateral valuation, identify systemic issues that lead to inaccuracies in data, and identify immediate, actionable opportunities for the Bank to implement changes that will lead to lower capital requirements through redefinition of credit products.
Credit Benchmarking
The RMA/AFS Risk Analysis Service provides banks with actionable, multi-dimensional comparisons of relevant risk metrics across relevant categories, regions and market segments.
AFS Custom Benchmarking
For institutions that require a special blend of benchmarking that leads to specialized benchmarking and best practice objectives, AFS can tailor a combination of our BPLC services accordingly. Find out more.
