Committed to Giving Back
Our Community
Helping others
Giving back.
AFS has always been a proponent of giving back to the community, looking for ways to do our part in offering support to local and global charities. AFS charitable activities have translated into $200,000 in money and goods over the last 5 years.

Earth Day Cleanup
On Earth Day, some members of the AFS Operating Committee rolled up their sleeves and got down in the dirt to give back to the community! The OC helped to pick up trash and bring more spring to Miller Park by planting flowers. Thanks for helping keep the community beautiful!

Eagles Huddle Up for Autism
Another great turn out from TeamAFS for a worthy cause! As a top donor, a few lucky colleagues and family members had a chance to “huddle up” with the Eagles on World Autism Day to kick off Autism Awareness Month.

Habitat for Humanity of Chester County
TeamAFS came out in a big way to help Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, donating time and money to help our neighbors build stability and independence through home ownership. Along with raising funds, we had 16 people from AFS rolling up their sleeves to pitch in for the cause. Way to go TeamAFS!

Adopt a Family
TeamAFS is working to make the season bright! We adopted 13 families for Christmas in the Chester County area. We had a lot of fun shopping and wrapping to help make these families’ celebrations a little merrier.
-
Holiday Giving
We continued to spread holiday cheer with our annual AFS Holiday Giving challenge, collectively surpassing 2021’s total by 20%! TeamAFS was happy to provide much-needed contributions to local Chester County charities and Toys for Tots to help make the holidays better for many families.

Fighting Hunger in West Chester
TeamAFS came together and raised more than $1,695 in November to help the West Chester Food Cupboard fight hunger and give hope to area families. The money raised will help restock shelves and provide fresh and nonperishable food to those in need. We agree that “…because no one should go hungry.”
